Current Fashion Trends: The Return of Y2K Style

Thanks to Gen Z’s love for all things 2000’s, 2021 is the year that Y2K style has returned (with a little bit of the 90's also sprinkled in). I’m sure all of you remember the chunky highlights, low rise pants and platform sandals popularized by 2000’s icons such as Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera. Well, they’ve made a return and it seems like they’re here to stay for quite some time. This generation of fashion icons (and aspiring Pinterest girls), have picked up on all of these old fashion trends. If you asked me 2 years ago if I would ever wear a little top, big pant combo, I would’ve looked you dead in the eyes and told you I was never abandoning my high-waisted skinny jeans. I’m here to tell you right now that is no longer the case.

We here at Intoxicated Cosmetics are ECSTATIC about the return of Y2K fashion trends. Why? Because we f***ing love Bratz dolls. We grew up playing with them, watching their movies, and designing our personalities around them. Our company vibe resonates with Bratz dolls, and now so many people around the nation also do. Let me show you what I mean.

Resemblance spotted? Yeah? Okay. Time to move into the other fashion trends that are taking over this year.
